The challenge
Fish farms rely on manual, subjective assessment of stock health and biomass, labour-intensive, inconsistent, and slow to catch disease before it spreads.
What we built
We built an AI system that uses high-resolution cameras and computer vision to detect early signs of disease and automate biomass estimation in real time, turning images into population and health insight.
The outcome
Reduced manual effort, improved accuracy and repeatability, and earlier disease detection, work that won the Aquacon Invest Championship 2024 in Dubai.
