The challenge
Fish farms rely on manual, subjective assessment of stock health and biomass — labour-intensive, inconsistent, and slow to catch disease before it spreads.
What we built
We built an AI system that uses high-resolution cameras and computer vision to detect early signs of disease and automate biomass estimation in real time — turning images into population and health insight.
The outcome
Reduced manual effort, improved accuracy and repeatability, and earlier disease detection — work that won the Aquacon Invest Championship 2024 in Dubai.
